Stevenage came from behind to beat Wycombe Wanderers 2-1 at Adams Park in round two of the League Cup, substitute Josh Magennis settling it with a goal in the 94th minute.
Dan Kemp put Stevenage ahead in the 26th minute. Wycombe levelled through Ewan Henderson in the 38th minute, converting an assist from Silko-Amari Thomas. Magennis, on as a substitute for Jamie Reid in the 74th minute, restored Stevenage's lead deep into second-half stoppage time, finishing off an assist from Phoenix Patterson.
Six players were booked and none were sent off: Wycombe's Fred Onyedinma and Ewan Henderson, and Stevenage's Jordan Roberts, Dan Kemp, Luther James-Wildin and Carl Piergianni. Wycombe made three substitutions, including Thomas making way for Junior Quitirna in the 77th minute after setting up the equaliser; Stevenage used four, Magennis among them in the 74th minute, before he combined with Patterson for the winner.
