Wrexham claimed their first Championship win of the season with a ruthless 3-0 victory over an injury-hit Millwall at The Den on Wednesday.
Zak Sturge turned a deflected Issa Kabore effort into his own net in the 27th minute to open the scoring. Kieffer Moore doubled Wrexham's lead three minutes into the second half, driving a 20-yard effort into the bottom corner for his second goal of the season, following his opener against former club Cardiff City on the opening weekend. Jacques Ekomie completed the rout in the 68th minute, sweeping home from close range after substitute Danny Imray, on for two minutes, picked him out from the right.
Millwall's afternoon was compounded by two injuries: Casper De Norre went off after 42 minutes and striker Josh Coburn followed him after 62, on the same day the club sold winger Femi Azeez to Brighton for £15m.
It is a second successive heavy defeat for Millwall, who shipped five at Southampton last weekend and have now conceded eight goals in two games after starting the season with back-to-back clean-sheet wins over Bristol City and Norwich City. The defeat drops them from sixth to 10th in the Championship, while Wrexham's win lifts them from 22nd into 11th, a point and a place behind Millwall.
