Middlesbrough were left to settle for a place in the Championship play-offs after a breathless 2-2 draw at Stok Cae Ras that simultaneously ended Wrexham's pursuit of the top six. Neither side could conjure the winner that would have altered their fate, leaving Boro fifth and bound for the play-offs while Wrexham finished seventh as results elsewhere went against them.
