Kyle Wootton scored a brace as high-flying Stockport came from behind to beat Plymouth 2-1 in League One. The forward struck twice in the second half to overturn Caleb Watts's first-half opener for the visitors.
Watts had put Tom Cleverley's side ahead after 42 minutes as Plymouth looked to halt Stockport's bid to extend an unbeaten run to seven games. But Wootton's 85th-minute winner secured fourth-placed County a fourth win in five games.
Plymouth Set the Early Tone
Argyle threatened to take an eighth-minute lead when striker Aribim Pepple glanced a header wide. Brendan Sarpong-Wiredu then curled wide from distance before referee Sam Allison ruled Watts had dived in the box as the away side continued on the front foot.
