Kyle Wootton scored two late goals as Stockport County kept their slim League One automatic promotion hopes alive with a dramatic 4-2 comeback victory over Wigan Athletic at Edgeley Park.
It was a breathless contest in which Wigan twice led, only to be reeled in and ultimately overwhelmed as they finished the match with nine men following two dismissals.
A Frantic Opening Exchange
The visitors took the lead after just two minutes when Joe Taylor seized on a loose ball and raced through to slot past Ben Hinchliffe. County responded three minutes later as Brad Hills headed in Ollie Norwood's free-kick from six yards out.
