A stoppage-time equaliser from Luca Woodhouse earned Exeter City a 2-2 draw in their League One clash at Reading, the substitute thumping home in the 93rd minute after a goalmouth scramble to deny the hosts.
The Grecians had led through skipper Pierce Sweeney, only for Will Keane to level on the brink of half-time. Paudie O'Connor then nudged Reading 2-1 ahead in the 75th minute before Woodhouse had the final say.
Sweeney Punishes His Former Club
After a cagey and uneventful opening, Exeter went in front in the 14th minute from a deep Ethan Brierley corner. Reece Cole drove it back into the danger area and Sweeney, a former Royal, diverted it home for only his second goal of the season.
