Wolverhampton Wanderers beat Port Vale 3-0 in the English League Cup at Molineux in front of 21,360, the contest effectively decided inside the first half.

Adam Armstrong opened the scoring in the 13th minute, André doubled Wolves' lead in the 33rd, and Fer López made it three in the 42nd.
