Luton Town stunned League One leaders Stockport County with a commanding 3-0 victory at Edgeley Park, as Jack Wilshere's impressive start as manager continued. Goals from Jake Richards, Cohen Bramall and Isaiah Jones earned the win against a wasteful County side and lifted the visitors to within three points of the play-offs.
The hosts went close in the opening stages as Nathan Lowe, Callum Connolly and Kyle Wootton all saw chances come and go, but they were made to pay for that profligacy as Luton grew in confidence and pulled clear before the break.
Richards and Bramall Punish a Wasteful County
Luton went in front after 34 minutes when Richards bundled home Bramall's cross, rewarding the visitors for weathering Stockport's early pressure.
