Ben Wilmot has signed a new three-year contract at Stoke City, a deal that ties the centre-back to the Championship club until the summer of 2029 with the option of a further year.
The 26-year-old has been at Stoke since the start of the 2021-22 season and has made nearly 200 appearances in that time, making him one of the longest-serving players in the squad.
He has continued to fill in outside his favoured centre-back role when needed, playing out of position at right-back for spells last season and again during Stoke's current campaign.
The new deal comes after Wilmot triggered a 12-month extension option in his previous contract during last season, taking him into a sixth year at the club. It arrives amid a busy summer of squad turnover at Stoke, who have brought in Ethan Galbraith, Svante Ingelsson, Djibril Soumare, Luke Graham and goalkeeper Josh Griffiths.
