Accrington Stanley extended their unbeaten run to three games with a 3-1 victory over Cheltenham Town, as goals from Shaun Whalley, Donald Love and Devon Matthews sealed a good afternoon for the Reds. Cheltenham, meanwhile, slipped to a third successive league defeat.
Whalley, presented with a trophy pre-match to mark his 200 appearances for Accrington, set the tone with a wonder goal after eight minutes, while Cheltenham briefly threatened before falling further behind on the stroke of half-time.
