Luton Town's winless run in League One extended to four matches as they were held to a 1-1 draw away at bottom-of-the-table side Port Vale. Nahki Wells put the Hatters ahead early on, but Ben Waine drew the Valiants level just before the half-hour mark.
The result sees Luton remain in 10th place, while Vale are still firmly rooted to the foot of the table despite making it three games without defeat and registering five points in the process.
Wells Strikes Early Before Waine Responds
The visitors took the lead in the fifth minute, with Wells tapping the ball in from Emilio Lawrence's cross for his sixth goal of the season in all competitions. They came close to doubling their advantage in the 28th minute, but Vale goalkeeper Joe Gauci produced an excellent save to tip Nigel Lonwijk's header over the crossbar.
