Struggling Port Vale are still waiting for their first League One win of the season after a late 3-2 defeat at home to Leyton Orient.
Devante Cole looked to have rescued a point early in the second half after the Londoners had led at the break, but Charlie Wellens delivered a cruel blow five minutes into added time to stretch the Valiants' winless start to seven matches.
A Frantic Opening Exchange
Ryan Croasdale had given Vale the perfect start after smashing home Cole's cross on seven minutes. The lead did not last long, with Aaron Connolly levelling from close range after a brilliant counter-attack six minutes later.
