Watford have signed the goalkeeper Sam Walker from Bradford City for an undisclosed fee.
Walker, 34, joined Bradford from Charlton Athletic in January 2024 and made 125 appearances for the Bantams, helping them to promotion from League Two before featuring in last season's League One play-off campaign.
The move follows Watford's six-year deal for the Bologna goalkeeper Federico Ravaglia, who was watched at Vicarage Road during a pre-season friendly against Hansa Rostock in July, along with the Udinese midfielder Martin Payero, before completing his switch to Hertfordshire last month. Watford are also understood to be negotiating an exit for their existing Norway international goalkeeper, Egil Selvik, with the Ligue 1 club Brest in talks to sign him.
The reshuffle in goal comes during a summer of wider change at Vicarage Road, where Alessio Dionisi replaced Ed Still as head coach after Watford finished 16th in the Championship last season.
