Grimsby Town made it five League Two games unbeaten but were left ruing a series of missed chances in a 1-1 draw at Accrington Stanley. Jaze Kabia put the Mariners ahead, only for them to squander a one-on-one and have a penalty saved before Tyler Walton levelled for the home side.
Accrington, still searching for their first league win of the campaign, dug in after falling behind and took a point thanks to Walton's second-half header.
Brown Rattles the Post Before Kabia Strikes
Accrington threatened first when Charlie Brown hit the base of the post on nine minutes, but it was Grimsby who broke the deadlock after 26 minutes. A Reece Staunton free-kick was fired home from close range by Kabia to give the visitors the lead.
