Cambridge United were made to pay for missing a host of chances as Harrogate Town fought back for a 1-1 draw. The U's should have had the game won by half-time but only scored once, and the visitors punished their profligacy after the break.
Louis Appere put the hosts ahead, but Stephen Duke-McKenna's equaliser left Cambridge ruing the chances they failed to take in a dominant opening period.
Appere Strikes but Chances Go Begging
Appere's impressive start to the season continued with the opener after 18 minutes. A Kell Watts header was kept out by a good James Belshaw save, only for Appere to fire home the rebound.
