Jayden Wareham rescued a point for Exeter with a stoppage-time equaliser against Wycombe in interim manager Dan Green's first game in charge, the spoils shared 1-1 in an entertaining clash at St James Park.
Green was in the Grecians' dugout following Gary Caldwell's departure to Wigan on Monday and saw his side get what they deserved against a stubborn Wycombe outfit.
Onyedinma Punishes Exeter With the Game's First Shot
Wycombe went in front with their first shot at goal in the 22nd minute. Ewan Henderson picked out Fred Onyedinma in the box, just ahead of Joe Whitworth, and the Chairboys striker rounded the Exeter goalkeeper before firing into an empty net.
