Wareham rescues a point on debut as Wycombe blow a two-goal lead against MK Dons

Jayden Wareham marked his Wycombe Wanderers debut with an equaliser on 73 minutes as the bottom-placed hosts drew 3-3 with MK Dons at Adams Park, a result that leaves both clubs still waiting for a first League One win of the season.

Wycombe had been two goals up at the interval, only for MK Dons to score three times in eight minutes after the restart and take the lead. Wareham, the new striker, had the last word.

Wycombe build a two-goal cushion

The home side, who began the day at the foot of the table, went ahead on 10 minutes. Dan Casey rose to meet a right-wing corner from Caolan Boyd-Munce and powered a header home.
