Walsall have signed the goalkeeper Tom Wooster following his release by Championship club West Ham United. The 21-year-old has agreed a one-year contract, with the club holding an option to extend it for a further year.
Wooster came through Manchester United's academy before joining West Ham in 2025. He made one senior appearance for the Hammers, in last season's EFL Trophy.
Walsall head coach Lee Grant told the club website: "He's someone I am familiar with having crossed paths during my playing career at Manchester United and he's really eager to show what he is all about."
Grant added: "He's young, athletic and an individual who will no doubt provide great competition for both Jed (Ward) and Jenson (Kilroy) throughout the season in the goalkeeping department."
