Walsall scored late in each half to beat Port Vale 2-0 at home in League Two on 19 September, leaving the visitors' manager Jon Brady under fresh pressure.

James Connolly put the Saddlers ahead with a 49th-minute goal that arrived in first-half stoppage time, and Andy Dallas, on as a substitute, sealed the points in the 88th minute with his first goal for the club.

Port Vale's supporters called for Brady to be sacked and booed their players off at the final whistle.
