· Match Report

Walsall and Grimsby Town were unable to find a way through at the Pallet-Track Bescot Stadium, the two sides playing out a goalless draw on the second matchday of the League Two season.

Walsall had the better of the chances, out-shooting the visitors 15 to 12 (two efforts on target to one) and edging possession 52.2% to 47.8%, while also winning the corner count eight to seven, but neither side's forward line could turn that territory into a goal.

Albert Adomah completed Walsall's changes, on for Courtney Clarke in the 89th.
