Union Saint-Gilloise won 3-0 away to Viktoria Plzeň on the opening matchday of the Europa League, at the Doosan Arena. Relebohile Mofokeng scored in the 16th minute, Mateo Biondic added a second in the 42nd and Ondrej Kricfalusi made it three in the 58th, with Massiré Sylla, Louis Patris and Besfort Zeneli providing the respective assists.
