A Ben Thompson hat-trick ensured Bromley extended their lead at the top of League Two to six points following a dominant 4-1 victory over Gillingham at Priestfield.
Andy Woodman's side found themselves 3-0 up before the half-hour mark, with Thompson netting twice and Corey Whitely beating Glenn Morris with a powerful effort in between. Bradley Dack pulled one back prior to the interval, but Thompson completed his treble early in the second half with an excellent half-volley.
Ravens Soar Inside the Opening Half-Hour
The Ravens took the lead after 10 minutes when Whitely's low pass into the box was fired into the top corner by Thompson. The midfielder added a second in the 20th minute when Michael Cheek robbed Andy Smith of possession in the final third; his shot was palmed away by Morris, but Thompson converted the rebound.
