Ten-man Stockport were held to a goalless League One draw by lowly Leyton Orient at Edgeley Park, with both sides striking the woodwork and the home goal living a charmed life in the closing stages.
Home defender Josh Dacres-Cogley was shown a second yellow card after 80 minutes to leave his side at a disadvantage, but Stockport held on for a point despite Orient's late push for a winner.
Woodwork Rattled at Both Ends
Both sides went close early on. Leyton Orient midfielder Ollie O'Neill forced Ben Hinchliffe into a superb diving save with a powerful shot from inside the box before Oliver Norwood struck the crossbar with an audacious 17th-minute free-kick.
