Ten-man Plymouth claimed their first away victory of the season as they won 3-2 at Luton in League One, leading three separate times in a chaotic Kenilworth Road clash between two sides relegated from the Championship last season.
The Pilgrims twice saw Luton claw back from a goal down through penalties, and they finished the match with both their skipper and their manager dismissed, yet still found the decisive blow with 15 minutes left to play.
Breathless First Half
Plymouth took the lead after just 15 minutes when Matthew Sorinola headed home from close range. Luton were not behind for long, though, as Brendan Wiredu fouled Lasse Nordas in the box five minutes later and Jerry Yates converted the penalty to level the scores.
