Birmingham City twice came from behind to draw 2-2 with Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Championship, with Jackson Tchatchoua's own goal before half-time cancelling out a Wolves lead for the second time. All four goals arrived in the first half, and Adam Armstrong then put the best chance of the second over the bar for the visitors.
The result extends Birmingham's unbeaten start to the league season and leaves them a point behind Wolves in the early table. It was the clubs' first meeting in more than eight years, and chairman Tom Wagner watched from the directors' box at St Andrew's for the first time since suffering a stroke in February.
A frantic first half
Wolves went ahead in the 2nd minute. Fer Lopez turned on the halfway line, played the ball on and then continued his run to finish Rodrigo Gomes's cross from close range. Gomes was through on goal soon afterwards, only for James Beadle to push his attempt wide.
