Swansea Stun Postecoglou's Forest With Stoppage-Time Carabao Cup Comeback

— Match Report

Swansea City produced an incredible late comeback to beat Nottingham Forest 3-2 in the Carabao Cup third round, scoring twice in the final four minutes of stoppage time to deny Ange Postecoglou his first win in charge of the visitors.

Igor Jesus had scored twice on his first start for Forest to put Postecoglou's side in command at half-time, but Cameron Burgess pulled one back with a header before substitute Zan Vipotnik levelled in the 93rd minute and Burgess struck again four minutes later to send the Swansea.com Stadium into delirium.

Jesus Brace Puts Forest In Command

Forest, having made 10 changes from the defeat by Arsenal in Postecoglou's first game in charge, took control after 15 minutes. A driving run from the left saw Omari Hutchinson's shot deflect off an unsuspecting defender into the path of Jesus, who squeezed his shot in from the far post for his first goal since his winner against Paris St-Germain at the Club World Cup.
