Stevenage and Doncaster Rovers shared four goals at the SPORTA Arena, Doncaster twice coming from behind to salvage a point in a 2-2 draw. Josh Magennis put Stevenage ahead in the 56th minute, before Jack Senior levelled for Doncaster in the 69th and Owen Bailey put the visitors in front in the 79th. Substitute Oliver Sanderson, on for Magennis in the 70th minute, restored parity in the 81st to complete the scoreline. Doncaster had the better of the underlying numbers, with 54.2% possession and 12 shots to Stevenage's nine, though the sides were level on corners at nine apiece.
Three players were booked, all for fouls, and there were no red cards. Doncaster's Isaac Hutchinson was cautioned first, in the 39th minute, before team-mate Jay McGrath followed in the 55th and scorer Jack Senior in the 75th. Doncaster made five substitutions across the second half; Stevenage made four, three of them together in the 70th minute, including Sanderson's introduction for Magennis.
The draw leaves both sides winless after three League One matches. Stevenage sit 19th with two points, level with 20th-placed Doncaster, both having drawn twice and lost once to open the season.
