Barrow goalkeeper Wyll Stanway produced a string of outstanding saves as the 10-man Bluebirds won 2-1 at Walsall to end the League Two leaders' eight-game unbeaten run.
Stanway repeatedly thwarted a Saddlers side that mustered 24 shots, 11 of them on target, with Barrow having to defend for long spells and with a man short for the final half hour.
Visitors strike against the run of play
The visitors weathered early Walsall pressure before taking the lead after 31 minutes, Ben Whitfield crossing for Elliot Newby to stab home from close range.
