Norwich City earned a measured but decisive 2-0 victory over Leicester City at the King Power Stadium, with second-half goals from substitute Anis Ben Slimane and Ali Ahmed securing a seventh win in nine league games for Philippe Clement's side.
The result extended Leicester's winless league run to nine matches and kept them third bottom of the Championship table, while Norwich's in-form team moved 11 points clear of the relegation zone to further bolster their survival hopes.
Leicester began brightly, carving out early openings through Ricardo Pereira, Bobby De Cordova-Reid, Abdul Fatawu and Harry Winks, but they gradually ceded control as Norwich repeatedly targeted the hosts' right side. After a goalless first half in which stand-in goalkeeper Jakub Stolarczyk kept the Foxes level, the Canaries' pressure after the interval was finally rewarded when Slimane drilled them in front before Ahmed punished more hesitant defending to secure the points.
