Promotion hopefuls Crewe and Chesterfield played out a thrilling 3-3 draw at the Mornflake Stadium, a contest that twice saw the visitors take control before the hosts hauled themselves level.
James Berry fired the Spireites ahead early on, with Lee Bonis doubling the lead with a clinical finish. Crewe hit back either side of the break through Emre Tezgel's penalty and a Calum Agius strike, only for Dilan Markanday to fire in a third for the visitors before James Connolly headed home Crewe's equaliser.
Chesterfield Strike First
Berry curled a right-footed effort into the far corner past goalkeeper Tom Booth to start the entertainment in the ninth minute, giving Chesterfield an early grip on the game.
