Isaac Sinclair's first professional goal gave Accrington Stanley their first League Two win of the season as they edged out Colchester United to move off the foot of the table.
Sinclair, signed from non-league in the summer, struck in the 32nd minute when he got on the end of Charlie Brown's pass and raced forward before slotting home. Colchester, who have just one league win themselves so far this season, ended the game with 10 men.
Stanley Set the Early Tempo
Visiting goalkeeper Matt Macey kept out a Brown strike in the second minute and Isaac Heath caused problems for the visitors soon after.
