Shrewsbury Town turned an early deficit into a commanding lead inside a frantic first half, scoring three times before the interval to beat Barnet 3-1 and claim their first league win of the season.
Barnet had made the brighter start and led through Mark Shelton, but a rapid Shrewsbury response, a home own goal and a dismissal for Barnet boss Dean Brennan swung the contest decisively before half-time.
Barnet's Early Promise
The home side took the lead in the 14th minute when Nnamdi Ofoborh floated a cross towards Mark Shelton, who guided a right-footed shot into the net.
