Keven Schlotterbeck turned Jacques Ekomie's cross into his own net in the 88th minute to give Wrexham a 2-1 win over Southampton and their first home victory of the Championship season.
Southampton had 66% of the possession and 20 shots to Wrexham's eight, seven of them on target to the hosts' four, and still left north Wales with nothing. For Phil Parkinson, eight days after a 6-0 defeat at West Ham, it was the lift his side badly needed.

The visitors were the better side from the start. Finn Azaz forced an early save and Cyle Larin, who was booked in the 13th minute, was a handful for the home defence. He tried his luck from just inside the Wrexham half and lifted another effort over the bar.
