Summer signing Christian Saydee popped up with a late equaliser for Wigan Athletic as high-flying Stockport County were held to a 1-1 draw at the Brick Community Stadium in League One.
The two sides had met in midweek in the Carabao Cup second round, with Wigan sneaking a 1-0 win, and Stockport looked set to gain the perfect revenge before Saydee's intervention turned the contest.
Stockport Strike Early but Fail to Build
With both teams showing multiple changes, it looked as though Stockport would exact the perfect revenge when Jayden Fevrier put them ahead inside four minutes, his shot taking a massive deflection past Sam Tickle.
