Charlie Savage's spectacular long-range equaliser earned Reading a 1-1 draw against Rotherham United at the Select Car Leasing Stadium, but it was not enough to end the Millers' unbeaten League One run.
Josh Benson had handed Rotherham a first-half lead, only for Savage's second goal in as many games to deny the visitors victory and extend their unbeaten sequence to eight matches.
A Let-Off and a Composed Opener
In-form Rotherham started sluggishly and could have fallen behind early on when home striker Kelvin Ehibhatiomhan raced clear. Although he bypassed onrushing goalkeeper Cameron Dawson, he found the angle too tight and shot across the face of the empty net.
