League One leaders Cardiff City were made to work hard for a 1-1 draw at struggling Leyton Orient, their second stalemate in three league matches. Dom Ballard's opener was cancelled out by a superb solo goal from Yousef Salech in a first half that produced both teams' decisive moments.
Both sides spurned good chances in a tight contest, but a resolute home performance was enough for Orient to take a share of the spoils and ease their relegation fears, while Cardiff again opened the door for their title rivals.
Trott Blunder Hands Orient The Lead
The first big opportunity fell to Salech in the 10th minute, when he was played through by a pass over the top and tried to chip Killian Cahill, only for a strong hand from the Orient keeper to deny the Danish striker.
