Yousef Salech's two goals helped Cardiff City overcome Huddersfield Town 3-2 in an entertaining League One encounter at the Cardiff City Stadium, keeping Brian Barry-Murphy's side top of the table.
A goal in each half from the Danish forward was supplemented by an Isaak Davies strike, with Leo Castledine and a late Joe Taylor effort keeping a spirited Huddersfield in the contest until the end.
Bagan and Salech strike early
Cardiff started strongly and struck the first blow in the sixth minute with a slick counter-attack. The hosts broke at pace through Omari Kellyman and Chris Willock, with overlapping left-back Joel Bagan crossing for Salech to head in.
