Mohamed Salah scored twice as Trabzonspor beat Istanbul Basaksehir 2-1 on Sunday, the first goals of his spell at the Turkish club since leaving Liverpool this summer.
Named in the starting line-up for the first time since his move, Salah made an instant impact, opening the scoring in the eighth minute. Basaksehir levelled in the 19th minute when Eldor Shomurodov converted from the penalty spot, but Salah restored Trabzonspor's lead three minutes into the second half, and it held for the win.
The brace came a week after Salah's debut for the club, when he was introduced from the bench in a 1-1 draw away at Kasimpasa. He joined Trabzonspor on a two-year deal at the start of August.
Trabzonspor return to league action on 31 August against Amed SK.
