Fleetwood scored a stoppage-time equaliser to rescue a 1-1 draw at Gillingham, a result that extended their unbeaten run to six games and denied the hosts a victory they had looked on course to claim.
Seb Palmer-Houlden put Gillingham in front with a deflected shot from the edge of the box that beat Jay Lynch, but Fleetwood rallied late, struck the bar and finally levelled when Shaun Rooney headed home in added time.
Early Chances Either Way
The hosts started the game well and created the first opportunity when Robbie McKenzie sent in a cross from the left, only for Palmer-Houlden's header to be comfortably gathered by Lynch. The Fleetwood keeper was alert again after 20 minutes to block Euan Williams' shot following Remeao Hutton's low delivery into the six-yard box.
