Accrington Stanley stretched their unbeaten run in League Two to five matches as they edged out Oldham Athletic 1-0, a 31st-minute Jamie Robson own goal proving the difference between two in-form sides.
The Latics, themselves unbeaten in four coming into the fixture, created more of the chances but were unable to find a way past the home defence, leaving Accrington to celebrate the narrowest of victories.

Oldham got off to the better start, with Kai Payne testing Stanley goalkeeper Ollie Wright early on. Josh Hawkes also tried his luck with two long-range efforts, both of which flew just over the bar.
