Exeter City came from behind to draw 1-1 with Barnet at St James Park on Tuesday, Reece Cole's 66th-minute leveller cancelling out Idris Kanu's opener and extending the Grecians' unbeaten home record. Barnet, second in League Two and still unbeaten this season, were held to a second draw in three games.
Kanu put Barnet ahead midway through the second half, converting in the 59th minute, before Cole levelled in the 66th. Barnet also had a goal ruled out for offside, and Exeter lost Andrew Oluwabori to injury in the same passage of play.
Manager Matt Taylor said after the match: "I'm like a proud parent in terms of what they were up against tonight and how Barnet have started the league, and what they'll do this season, and everything that is going against us in that moment."
He added: "I'm so, so proud of the way they showed physical bottle for 99% of the game, and in the one moment we got punished they showed character to not go under and to come back into the game."
