Barcelona opened their Champions League campaign with a 5-1 win over Feyenoord at Camp Nou on Wednesday 9 September 2026, Raphinha scoring twice and Karim Adeyemi, Lamine Yamal and Gabriel Jesus adding the rest in heavy rain. Sem Steijn replied for the visitors in the 81st minute.
Yamal had a hand in three of the goals, scoring one and setting up two, to reach 101 goal contributions for Barcelona at the age of 19.
Raphinha Strikes Early in the Rain
The pitch was so wet that Feyenoord defenders Jeremiah St. Juste and Charles Vanhoutte slid across the area as Raphinha opened the scoring in the second minute. He feigned a shot on his right foot, cut inside onto his left and slotted home, set up by Yamal. Hansi Flick made five changes to his side, with Jules Koundé, Andreas Christensen, João Cancelo, Dani Olmo and Adeyemi coming in, and the pressing that followed gave Feyenoord little room to breathe.
