Ugo Raghouber scored his first goal for Burnley to earn only their second point from four Championship matches, as they came from behind to draw 1-1 with Middlesbrough at Turf Moor on Wednesday.
Aidan Morris swept Middlesbrough into a 22nd-minute lead, finishing from Sebastian Berhalter's pass. Raghouber levelled in the 53rd minute, steering in Zeki Amdouni's pass. It was the 23-year-old's first goal since Burnley signed him from Lille on a four-year deal in July, a move that followed a loan spell at Levante in La Liga the previous season and came as the club began life under new head coach Nicky Hayen.
Neither side found a winner from there. Burnley finished with the better of the chances: 11 shots to Middlesbrough's 10, three on target to two, and five corners won to the visitors' one. Middlesbrough had the larger share of possession, 57% to 43%.
Four yellow cards were shown and no player was sent off. Burnley's Hannibal Mejbri was booked in the 27th minute and Middlesbrough's Will Lankshear in the 38th, both in the first half; Alfie Jones was cautioned for Middlesbrough in the 70th and Raghouber picked up his in the 90th. Burnley used all five of their permitted substitutions through the second half; Middlesbrough made four.
