Queens Park Rangers and Bolton Wanderers shared a goalless draw at Loftus Road on the second matchday of the Championship season, with the hosts dominant for long spells but unable to find a breakthrough.
QPR had 55% of possession and led 18 shots to two, also winning the corner count 9-2, yet the game finished 0-0.
Bolton's Thierry Gale was booked in the 45th minute. Ryan Hardie (72') and QPR's Jake Clarke-Salter (74') were also cautioned in the second half, with Bolton finishing with eight fouls to QPR's six.
QPR made four substitutions together on 61 minutes, sending on Rumarn Burrell, Nicolas Madsen, Tariq Lamptey and Dennis Cirkin for Richard Kone, Kwame Poku, Amadou Mbengue and Kealey Adamson, with Paul Smyth introduced on 75 minutes. Bolton changed at the interval, Ben Davies replacing Akin Famewo, before Samuel Iling-Junior and Ryan Hardie came on for Thierry Gale and John McAtee on 58 minutes and Kyliane Dong replaced Gaizka Larrazabal on 66.
