Grimsby Town and Fleetwood Town drew 2-2 in League Two at Blundell Park on Saturday, Finley Potter's 68th-minute equaliser denying Grimsby a win after they had come from behind to lead.
Will Davies opened the scoring for Fleetwood in the 5th minute. Cian Doyle equalised for Grimsby in the 36th, and Andy Cook put the hosts 2-1 up in the 63rd before Potter's response five minutes later made it 2-2, the final score.
Grimsby had the better of the play, with 15 attempts on goal to Fleetwood's 11, five shots on target to four, and 58% of possession. Grimsby also won seven corners to Fleetwood's five, but conceded more fouls, 15 to 11.
Harvey Rodgers was booked for Grimsby in the 24th minute and Maldini Kacurri in the 77th. Fleetwood picked up four cautions to Grimsby's two, with Andy Cannon, Potter, Davies and Rhys Bennett all shown yellow between the 27th and 60th minutes. There were no red cards.
