Plymouth Argyle claimed a thumping 4-0 victory over Blackpool at Bloomfield Road in League One. Alex Mitchell, Aribim Pepple and Malachi Boateng all scored in the first half, before Caleb Watts found the back of the net after the break as Tom Cleverley's side ended a three-match winless run.
There was further misery for the hosts in the closing stages. On top of suffering their sixth league defeat of 2026, the Seasiders saw James Husband shown a straight red card in the final moments of the game.
Mitchell Breaks the Deadlock
After an uneventful opening 30 minutes, Mitchell bagged the opener. A ball into the box was misjudged by Blackpool's defence, allowing the defender to head home from close range.
