Plymouth Argyle beat Barnsley 3-0 at Home Park in League One on Saturday, Oliver Irow scoring inside the first minute and Ronan Curtis and Bim Pepple adding the second and third either side of half-time. The visitors were two goals down by the 21st minute.
Irow, the 20-year-old attacker on loan from Tottenham Hotspur, set the tone, and manager Tom Cleverley said as much after the match. "We've got a player who's got X-factor and those kinds of players turn tight games into two winning games, turn draws into wins and it's a superb strike."
Irow Strikes Inside the First Minute
Julio Pleguezuelo's ball out to the left found Irow, who cut inside Tyrese Noslin and hit a right-footed shot beyond Barnsley goalkeeper Rogan Ravenhill and into the top corner. Opta records the goal in the opening minute.
