Peterborough United came from behind to beat Mansfield Town 2-1 at the Weston Homes Stadium, Harry Leonard's stoppage-time winner settling a League One matchday two meeting that had looked set for a draw.
Ben Woods put the hosts ahead four minutes into the second half, converting in the 49th minute. Mansfield levelled through Michael Smith on 59 minutes, before Leonard struck deep into injury time, finding the net in the 92nd minute for Peterborough's winner.
Peterborough had the better of the chances, leading 15 shots to 10 and five on target to four, and held the greater share of possession, 65% to 35%. Mansfield's goalkeeper made three saves to Peterborough's two.
Peterborough's Brandon Khela (53') and Carl Johnston (65', for simulation) were both cautioned, as were Mansfield's Rhys Oates (78') and Ryan Sweeney (86'), both for fouls; there were no red cards.
