Peterborough United and Stevenage played out a goalless draw at the Weston Homes Stadium, in League One's fourth round of matchday fixtures.
Peterborough had the better of the possession, holding the ball for 56% of the game, but could not turn territory into clear openings: none of their four attempts on goal were on target. Stevenage were the more direct side, working three of their five efforts on target, only for the Peterborough goalkeeper to make three saves and preserve the clean sheet.
The game's only cards arrived in the second half: Stevenage's Luther James-Wildin was booked in the 61st minute, with Peterborough's Josh Feeney following in the 75th; neither side had a player sent off.
Both managers turned to their bench, Peterborough making four substitutions and Stevenage five. Owura Edwards was withdrawn for Bolu Shofowoke as early as the 23rd minute, while the remaining changes on both sides came after the hour mark as each side searched for a breakthrough that never arrived.
