Palace hold Leeds: Calvert-Lewin's home scoring run stalls at five

· Match Report

Crystal Palace kept their first Premier League clean sheet of the season as they held Leeds United to a 0-0 draw at Elland Road on Sunday, a result that extended the hosts' unbeaten start and gave Pierre Sage a defensive display to build on.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who had scored in each of his previous five Premier League home games, was denied by Walter Benítez after the break and so missed the chance to equal a Leeds home-scoring record held by Mark Viduka. Palace also had a goal ruled out by VAR, and Sage said his players deserved more from the afternoon.

Leeds are fifth in the table on nine points from five games, with two wins and three draws. Palace are 15th on four points, having conceded 11 goals in their first four league matches.
